the week to clean up the book
This week I have a major task a head of me, and that is to finish up the details in the book. Book you ask? Yes Broadband Network Architectures is almost finished; Chris Hellberg and Dylan Greene, and myself have put together our thoughts on how to build triple play networks. I mean, we are building them and having input into their construction around the world.
Dylan is now working in USA, Chris in Europe, and I am in Asia. Well actually New Zealand at the moment, but thing may be changing in the next few months with some more travel to countries in Asia.
I just did a search on google, for the phrase ‘loopback filter’ and my blogspot site was the first hit. Interesting. I am reading the Google Story or whatever the book is called by Vice. It’s really an interesting story and the writing style makes me excited about the state of technology and futhermore the aspects of being inspired about making things better, is a noble concept.
There are many technologies that Juniper is working on that are going to change aspects of networking. The enterprise area will see significant changes to the way that security is enforced. UAC is some cool stuff. I will write more details on how this works shortly.
