phone line is back in biz

By Truman Boyes · · 1 min read

The phone lines / DSL line was severed for my neighbor and I. It appears that someone slashed through a cable that run through a hallway and thus took down our lines. I went down and patched it up tonight and suprisingly my DSL sync’d up faster than it had in close to a year.

Here is the line from the Juniper Netscreen 5GT+Wifi+ADSL:

bandwidth: physical 576/5952kbps, configured egress [gbw 0kbps mbw 0kbps]

It’s not the best, but it at least it’s better than 3Mbps which is what I normally get.
