Weekend arrives
As my son would ask, “is this a weekday or a weekend”. Oh the magic of Friday as it straddles both. To me Friday evening is the weekend; a time to breath a little deeper and a time to spend time with family. The week is so rushed, by my own choosing of course, it becomes time that passes so quickly.
Things that seem so simple, such as getting a watch repaired become long and drawn out tasks that sit on my task list until I happen to have some dramatic event force me to complete the task.
Riding the N train now, enjoying the air conditioning; listening to Birdy Nam Nam from France. Awesome tracks.
The political discussions on social media are creating something I don’t think we ever had before. Sure, people would chat about their thoughts on politics, people, and beer while at the local watering hole. But with the advent of social media, we get a window into perspectives, into social and conservative values, into people’s lives where we don’t share our views.
